Someone very special to me

I never thought I would say this but I really don't like the place I live any more. Or, to be specific, the laws. Some really idiotic laws have come in and I can't stand them. Like the one where you can't buy hairspray, body spray, deoderant (or anything like that) without ID until you're 18, and the shop can refuse to sell you them if you're under 21. Oh, and I went to buy some DVDs today... now you're not allowed to buy rated DVDs (12+, 15+ or 18+) unless you're over 21. What the..? Is this some kind of joke? So, they're telling me that people can join the army when they're 16... and yet you can't purchase a 12+ DVD. What is with these 'laws'? Huh, if they can be called laws. I'm so sick of this... And they are moving all the shops in my town centre to these 'out of town shopping centres'. What's the point? Unless you have a car, you can't get to these places (or it's one hell of a long walk). Elderly people can't get to those places! How are they meant to do their shopping? Or are they jst expected to depend on somebody else? Please, everyone has some dignity they would like to keep.

The saddest/stupidest part? No matter how much I would love to, there is nothing I can do about it.

I think I am going to write either to the local newspaper about all this or the f-in government. Either way, what I write is not going to be pretty. It probably won't do anything on its own... but how about a hundred letters? Or e-mails? They have to take notice then! And don't think I wouldn't do this. Or get people to sign a petition... now I'm planning - , this could be very interesting!

And all this constant rain in getting me down... it's just one of those crappy days.

Yeah... well I better get back to welsh revision now... oh joy...

The more I find out about this whole 'under 21' thing, the less I understand. Apparently I should have been allowed to buy the DVD (any fool could have told you that) but the lady who served me didn't want to risk breaking the law by selling it to me without ID. Just in case... Just in case what? Just in case I was under 12 maybe? Excuse me? Ok... to give you an idea of what I look like, about 4 years ago people were asking me what subjects I was taking in college. In that case... that moron in the shop needs to get her eyes checked. I'm getting to college in September, but since people were asking me that question 4 years ago, I very much doubt that I look 'young for my age' Unless my suspicions are correct and 5 foot 4 is considered 'short' for people in my area (laugh at my height and I swear to god you better start writing your will).

So... I don't know what to do next. All I know is that the people in the shop are seriously weird. Wait, except for the manager - he's a right laugh. And they were sort of evasive when I was trying to get the exact reason why I was refused sale of the DVD. That's got me completely on my guard. Personally, I think that I've been treated unfairly.

But I can do something about the 'shops moving out of town' problem. I have an idea about that...

And now... to keep finding out more.

Wow, for once I have nothing to say!

Edit: Now I do have something to say! (Not much, mind you!) Had a bowls match today... I didn't just win I murdered the other team! Never say that girls can't bowl... unless you have a death wish... The strangest/funniest thing? I wasn't even wearing my glasses and hardly had a freaking clue what on earth I was doing! That's it... I'm not wearing my glasses to bowl any more!

I only have one thing to say today, apart from the tag by PyroDragoness. These Year 7s (11-year-olds) are starting to scare me. They were leaning over my shoulder today when I was drawing! And I didn't know because I had my headphones in... How could I not notice them? My friend found it hilarious, but I was not amused then. I see the funny side now.

I only have one thing to say at this moment in time.... MY EXAMS ARE OVER!!!!!!! This is the first weekend in months that I haven't had to do anything! But it's back to god damned coursework next week... damnit.

So, it's December and Christmas is coming. Am I meant to be excited? No offence but I think it's a lot of fuss for something that not many people consider as a religious festival any more. I mean, I've just put up the tree and all it was was a lot of cursing and swearing. Sure, it looks pretty enough when it's actually up, and I absolutely despise fibre optic trees, but it's just so much hassle. If I could do it on my own, I'd probably be a lot happier about it, but nope. Ah well. Over and done with until it has to be taken down after Christmas! I do love putting my little tree up in my bedroom though. THAT'S a lot more fun!

There's a couple of new songs up and there will be another one very soon... one that I found crumpled up at the bottom of my bag, hehe *sheepish look*. Wrote it in the most boring lesson ever: PSE. Pointless subject, honestly.
